    Here I worked on cross-functional teams to help design and implement several bespoke software projects:

  • Developed a program to read data from a cholesterol sensor (Alere Cholestech LDX) then upload data to an SFTP serverr, saving time by eliminating manual data entry.
  • Set up a network of sensors to read data from bourbon barrels. I specifically worked on the NFC capabilities of a mobile app to read data from these sensors.
  • Built a Slack app that managed remote screens using Golang, DynamoDB, and ElectronJS.
  • Interfaced with a MaxBotix Ultrasonic sensor that could detect when someone has entered a room. This then triggered an interactive museum exhibit to begin playing.

    This was mostly IT work, however in my free time I worked on development projects. These include:

  • A program that automatically cropped employee profile pictures and uploaded them to an Active Directory, saving 3 minutes of manual work per picture, by using Javascript and Windows PowerShell.
  • An internal website that allowed employees to easily download printer drivers by selecting the printers from a map of the office.
